Store Manager

Job Summary

The Store Manager is expected to manage the daily operations of our Brijwasi Sweets shop. We have several brand outlets across Mumbai.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Responsible for the smooth functioning of the store
  • Assist walk in customers with their purchases and recommend appropriate products
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and a good shopping experience
  • Manage counter sales team, motivate them and train them to perform better
  • Ensure good display and regular replenishment of goods
  • Conduct marketing and sales promotional activities for the business development of the store
  • Inventory management and stock control
  • Manage Store Accounts (Daily and Monthly, Reports)

    • Required Experience and Qualifications

  • Responsible for manpower training and development
  • Good time management and planning skills
  • Good communication and written skills
  • Should be able to analyse data and measure store performance
  • Should be confident, quick and efficient in making decisions
  • Knowledge and understanding of accounts
  • Good communication and written skills
  • Prior experience in Food / Hospitality preferred
  • Prior experience in Retail Shop / Customer Service preferred
  • Residence in Mumbai (only hiring candidates who live in Mumbai)

    • Store Supervisor

    Job Summary

    The Store Supervisor is expected to manage and assist the Manager in the daily operations of our Brijwasi Sweets shop. We have several brand outlets across Mumbai.

  • Previous experience in sales a must, minimum 2 to 3 years

    Job Summary

    The Business Development Executive is expected to manage and develop institutional business across Mumbai.

    Responsibilities and Duties

  • Responsible for identifying key markets and areas for Institutional business development
  • Client Servicing - should be able to foster and maintain business relationships with key accounts
  • Should be able to strategize and plan daily schedule
  • Initiate strategic alliances and cross promotions with parallel brands and categories
  • Connect with customers via various mediums of communication (sms and email)

    • Dessert Chef

    Job Summary

    We are interested in hiring a Chef who is able to create a broad range of traditional Indian desserts and Fusion creations for different occassions. The ideal candidate for this role understands the subtle ways that different flavors work together and has an appreciation for artistic presentation.

    Responsibilities and Duties

  • Create unique Mithais, Mithai Cakes and other sweets based on client specifications
  • Creating new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of customers
  • Ensure that the kitchen is clean at all times and meets all local health & safety guidlines
  • Guide and motivate assistants to work more efficiently
  • Check quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking
  • Identify staffing needs and help recruit and train personnel

    • Required Experience and Qualifications

  • Basic eduation and culinary course
  • 3+ years’ experience as a Dessert Chef
  • Must be able to provide a portfolio of creative work for consideration
  • Good presentation and preperation skills
  • Precise eye for deta
